Marcia McKenna

Marcia McKenna, age 85, of Verona and Madison passed away May 19, 2026 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born December 23, 1940, the daughter of Thomas and Helen (McGurk) McKenna in Chicago, IL.

Marcia held a Masters degree from UW Madison in Speech and Language and was employed as a Speech and Language Therapist at Oregon School District for 30 years.

Marcia is survived by her children; Stephen (Julie) Butler, Michael (Stacey) Butler and Julie Cline, and her grandchildren, Kayla Cline, Aidan Butler and Emma Butler.

Marcia was passionate about travel, her gardens and her family cottage in Fox Lake, IL. She will be fondly remembered for her infectious laugh, her love of life and her family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am June 4, 2026 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 401 S. Owen Drive, Madison, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of Mass at the church.

We would like to thank the staff of Agrace HospiceCare for their compassionate and gentle care during the final weeks of her life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Heart Association, American Cancer Society.
