Mai Chee Thao

Mai Chee Thao, 34, passed away June 18th, 2020 in a tragic car accident.

Mai Chee was born on June 26th, 1985 in Ban Vinai, Thailand to Pa Thao and Long Thao. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2010. She married Symon Moua Lee in October of 2011. Together they had 3 sons and 2 daughters. Mai Chee dedicated her career to social work and last worked for Reach Dane. Throughout her career, she participated in numerous volunteering events and dedicated much of her time to helping low-income families and the community. In her spare time, she enjoyed sports, crafting, watching movies, and spending time with her sisters, friends, and her children.

Mai Chee has left a loving impression on many people, and continues to be loved and missed dearly by everyone.

She is survived by her husband; and children, Kevin, Kira, Aaron, Zander, and Nikki.

Mai Chee's funeral service will be held Saturday July 11, 2020 through Sunday July 12, 2020 at Cress Funeral & Cremation Service in McFarland, followed by interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Madison.
