Lucille G. Wipperfurth, age 93, passed away with her family by her side, on April 23, 2014 at the UW Hospital. She was born in Middleton, WI on November 22, 1920 to Joseph and Margaret (Laufenberg) Ziegler. She was married to Jerome Wipperfurth on November 26, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1998. They farmed north of Waunakee on Easy Street for 38 years. Lucille also worked for the State of Wisconsin for 20 years. In 1981 they moved into Waunakee to enjoy their retirement. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage. She was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and it's Christian Mothers. Lucille enjoyed playing cards, gardening, cooking and going on casino trips. Most of all she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children; Ken (Kay) Wipperfurth, Karen Wipperfurth, and Jeanne (Dick) Frosch, all of Waunakee. Six grandchildren; Kris (Barry) Paar of Lodi, Kim (Ryan) Stanek of Dane, Kevin (Elise) Wipperfurth of Rolling Meadow, IL., Brad (Isa) Wipperfurth of Middleton, Jessica Frosch of Sauk City, Hillary (Jason) Henry of DePere, WI., and twelve great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Marion Ballweg, and two brothers, Leonard (Ruth) Ziegler and Eddie (friend Donna) Ziegler. She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Jerome, son James, sister Rosalie (George) Buechner, brother-in-law Edward Ballweg, sister-in-law Sharon Ziegler, sisters and brothers-in-law Dolores (Hank) Brandt, and Betty (Gilbert) Schack.
Funeral services will be held on Sat. April, 26, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. a St John's Catholic Church 209 South St Waunakee. Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q on Friday April 25, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Friends may also call at the church on Sat. from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

Mom - We love you and will always miss you. Thanks for being such a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
