Lucille M. Schwacher, age 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Stoughton Hospital.
She was born on October 25, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the beloved daughter of Henry and Genevieve (Pawlowski) Barforth. On February 5, 1953, Lucille was united in marriage to Norman Schwacher. Together, they built a life filled with love and shared memories until Norman’s passing on December 9, 2017.
While Lucille worked several jobs over the years, her true passion and greatest joy came from making a warm home and caring for her family. Her devotion to her loved ones will be her lasting legacy.
Lucille is survived by her son Mike Schwacher; Seven grandchildren: Jimmy Bett, Kimberly Boots, Dan (Serena) Denson, Jamie Gausmann, Jennifer Denson, Ryan Williamson, and Amy (Dan) Price. Eight great grandchildren: Starr, Dakota, Tristan, Analee, Rilee, Owen, Lauren, Kyleah, Ava, Andrew and four great, great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Bob Barforth; and sister, Edna Rauth; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman; daughters, Sandy Denson, Debra Bett; her sister Mary and brothers Henry Jr and Ray.
A Celebration of Lucille's life will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at, Cress Funeral Home 206 W. Prospect St. Stoughton, WI 53589.
