Lucille Laundrie

Stoughton- Lucille Laundrie, age 82, departed this world to her final destination on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Stoughton Hospital.   She was born in Racine on January 21, 1928, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Oftelie) Karpen.   In 1954 Lu married Gabriel Laundrie, who preceded her in death in 1988.   She enjoyed traveling, crossword puzzles and being outside tending to her yard.   Lu is survived by two children, Fred (Barbara) of Platteville and Ann of Stoughton; step son, Pete of Green Bay; two grandchildren, Casey and Wendy Laundrie; brother, Raymond Karpen; and special friends, Edie, Sonja, The Guzmans and Dixie.   She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Anna Marie, Alice and Gladys.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton.   Friends may greet the family from 12:30 PM until the time of services Monday.   Burial will take place in Lutheran Cemetery South.   A special thank you to the staff of Stoughton Hospital for their excellent care.
