Stoughton- Lucille P. Kreitling, age 84, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Azura in Stoughton. She was born in Chicago on October 28, 1931, the daughter of Eugene and Frances McCartney. Lucille married the love of her life, Robert Kreitling, on August 28, 1954. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2015. Lucille enjoyed staying home and raising her children and grandchildren. In later years she worked as a receptionist for Kraft Foods. Lucille loved crafts, crocheting, baking, and being Irish. Her pride and joy were her children and grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her four children, Ken (Tamie) Kreitling, Dianne (Marvin) Wollschlager, Barb (Erik) Veum, and Larry Kreitling; 10 grandchildren, Becca (Matt) Hanna, Steven and Emily Derra, Naomi Murray, Max Wersland (Kim Weise), Melody Derra (Ben Juve), Kaley (Matt) Weber, Bethany Veum, and Ben and Jaci Kreitling; three great grandchildren, Sienna Marten, Graham Hanna, and Jade Derra; sisters, Margaret Weber and Betty Vlahkis; sister-in-law, Betty McCartney; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; daughter, Carol Jeanne; sister, Frances Sorfleet; and brothers, Robert and Thomas McCartney. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church, 323 N. Van Buren Street, Stoughton, with Fr. Randy Budnar officiating. A luncheon reception will follow at the Stoughton American Legion, 803 N. Page Street. Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass on Thursday at church. Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc., or to Azura Memory Care.
