Madison - Lucille Boeker, age 99, passed away at Oakwood Prairie Ridge on Thursday, September 1, 2016.

She was born on January 17, 1917 on the Spring Green farm, the daughter of Russell & Emily Slauson. She married Leonard Boeker on June 13, 1941. Lucille graduated from Spring Green High School in 1934, second in her class. She studied 3 years study at Milton College. Her career was in administration with 15 years at the AFSC&ME and 25 years at Anchor Bank as an executive secretary. Lucille was widely travelled in the U.S. and Europe. Her hobbies were collections that included dishware, postcards, antique toys and furniture. She was a member of the D.A.R, played bridge as long as sight allowed, & archived many family pictures & histories.

Lucille is survived by two sons, Roger of Madison and Steven (Judy) of DeForest. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be held at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1021 Spaight Street, Madison on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11:00 am with Pastor Michael Erdman officiating. A visitation will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Ave., Madison on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and at the church on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 10:00 am until the time of services. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1021 Spaight Street, Madison 53703.
