October 12, 1934 — June 12, 2014

Lourdes A. Anderson, age 79, of Madison, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg from pancreatic cancer. She handled her health challenges with grace and courage over the past seventeen months.
She was born on October 12, 1934 to Robert and Adeline Meinholz of Cross Plains WI and was united in marriage to Henrick Anderson Jr on May 22, 1954.

Lourdes and Hank enjoyed camping when their children were young and had fond memories of outings with the Queen of Peace camping group for many years. In her later years Lourdes continued to enjoy traveling with friends and family. Among her trips were a tour of Europe, cruises through the Panama Canal, the Caribbean, and an Alaskan cruise/bus tour.
She loved being with her children and grandchildren and attending their sports games. She also took great pleasure spending time with all her friends, visiting, playing cards, going to movies and plays, and out for dinner.
Lourdes was an avid sports fan, attending many UW Badger football games over the years including trips to the 1999 Rose Bowl and other bowl games. She also loved cheering for the Brewers, Packers and Badger basketball.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henrick Anderson Jr, an infant daughter, Jerilyn, and her parents.
