Louise Grande

Madison - Louise Mary Le Grande, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Middleton Village in Middleton. She was born on April 24, 1924 in Blue Island, Illinois, the daughter of John and Maria (Schwarz) Schmidt. Louise was united in marriage to Charles W. on July 10, 1948. He passed away on December 21, 1990. They resided in Madison since 1962.

They had four children, Christine Richard of Madison, Diane Joy of Whitewater, Charles J. (Karen) Le Grande of Sun Prairie and Carol M. Le Grande of Madison; Also seven grandchildren, Jason (Beth) Richard, Jesse Richard, Brianna and Samantha Joy, Alicia, Carly and Kaylee Le Grande; two great grandsons, Jacob and Tommy Richard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brothers, Richard and John Schmidt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 405 S. Owen Dr., Madison, on Friday, June 1, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. with Msgr. Kenneth J. Fiedler presiding. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Monona. A visitation will be held at church on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until time of the mass.

Whatever we were to each other, we still are. Laugh as we always laughed. Play, smile, and think of me. Pray for me.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 8317 Elderberry Rd. Madison, WI 53717.
