MADISON-Louella M. Lindenburg passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018, at the age of 74. She was born on February 24, 1944. She was united in marriage to William Yager on July 1, 1961. They were together for 18 years. She was later united in marriage to William Lindenburg on September 26, 1980. They were married for 33 years.
Louella received her GED at the age of 53. She was a maid and supervisor at Econo Lodge in Madison and she also was a maid at Water Tower Inn and Aloha Inn and other various hotels. Louella also waitressed at the Old Town Truck Stop. She loved her family, country music and dancing. She also loved nature and animals and had a strong religious belief.
Louella is survived by her children Daniel (Lynette) Yager, Debra (Mike Weihert), Fisher, Donald (Barb) Yager, Douglas Yager, Lori (Kevin) Tews, Kristi (Robert) Miller, and Kenneth (Stacey Bonilla) Yager; 10 grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister Joann (Eleno Jr.) Calvillo and sister in law Kathy Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin (Mary) Johnson and Mabel (Leonard) Mabie; sister Carolyn Johnson, Janice Johnson and brother Lewis Johnson; and grandsons David Saunders and Alex Yager.
Visitation will be from 10:00AM-12:00PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM (noon). Burial will follow services at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens.
