Lorraine Christopher

Lorraine M. Christopher, age 92, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare Fitchburg. She was born on Nov. 11, 1921 in Fort Atkinson, WI, the daughter of Frank and Rose Ganzow. She married Edison Christopher of Stoughton, WI.

Lorraine worked for many years at Fauerbach Fine Foods on Monroe St. in Madison and later at their new location at Fitchburg Ridge. Lorraine also worked as a cashier for Walmart in Stoughton.

She is survived by her sons David Christopher of Woodstock, ILL., Gary Christopher of Stoughton, WI., Gregory Christopher of McFarland, WI., and her daughter Michelle Johnson of Madison, WI. Lorraine will also be survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lorraine was also blessed with special people in her life, son in-law Alan Johnson of Cottage Grove, daughter in-law Carol Christopher of Stoughton, David Gilbert of Sun Prairie and our special extended family members from Laos Souvantha Seneboua, his wife Solatda, and children Tabitha and Evan.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Edison Christopher, Her parents Frank and Rose Ganzow of Jefferson, WI her two brothers Earl Ganzow of Fort Atkinson and Harry Ganzow of Janesville.

Funeral services will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W Prospect,
Stoughton, at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 23, 2014. A visitation will follow the service from 4:30 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lorraine will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery in Jefferson on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
