Loretta Tresch

Waunakee -- Loretta Tresch, age 91, passed away on Wed. Oct. 20, 2010 at the Waunakee Manor Health Care Center after a brief battle with cancer. She was born on Aug 19, 1919 to Mike and Rose (Kruchten) Schmidt. Survivors include her three sons; Franklin (Janet) Tresch, Paul Tresch and Phillip (Nicole) Tresch. Six grandchildren; Michael (Chris) Tresch, Lynda (Steve)Osmanski, David Tresch, Sara (Ron) Squires, Sara (Marty) Blake and Mariam Tresch. Six great-grandchildren, Joshua Osmanski, Mitchell Squires, Parker Squires, Preston Squires, Emmett Blake and Indy Blake. One sister, Ann Gurrell. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents Mike and Rose Schmidt, her husband Frank Jr., a daughter Judith Ann, two brothers Norbert and Norman and three sisters Helen Schmidt, Clara Rauch and Rose Otto. Funeral services will be held at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee on Sat. Oct 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Lance Schneider will preside. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in Dane at St Michaels Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. The family requests that memorials be made to either St John's Catholic Church in Waunakee or the Waunakee Manor social services.
