Loren Schiltz

WAUNAKEE-Loren V. Schiltz, age 72, passed away on Sat. April 22, 2017, following a long battle with MDS (Myelodysplastic syndrome). He was born on Oct. 11, 1944, to Andrew and Wanda (Spahr) Schiltz.

Survivors include his two sons, Phillip and Scott (Sue); two grandchildren, Sarah and Sam; and a brother, Jim (Phyllis). He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Doris.

Loren lived his entire life in Waunakee. He never failed to help someone in need. He would never complain for any reason and always kept positive no matter the situation. Loren had many interests including Nascar racing and Lionel trains. He was also especially proud of the time he spent barbering with his father, Andy, and being the commissioner for the Waunakee Softball leagues.

The family would like to thank the staff at Meriter and Agrace for the care provided to Loren.

A private family service was held.
