Loren Quam

Loren A."Al" Quam, age 71, of Waunakee passed away at his home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 following a long illness. He was born in Lodi, Wisconsin on October 19, 1941 to Alvin and Bernice (Thompson) Quam. Al graduated from Lodi High School and then served in the United States Army. He was employed for 37 years as a supervisor for Marshall Erdman Co. in Waunakee. Al was a kind and gentle man and we will all miss him.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; five step-children; Wally (Ronda) Jankowski of Waunakee, Mike Jankowski of LaCrosse, Ron (Amy) Jankowski of Neenah, Christine (Dana) Bowar of Pine Bluff and Joe (Kristi) Jankowski of Plymouth; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his sister, Bev Hummel and her children; and his brother, Ron (Beverly) Quam of Lodi.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St John's Catholic Church, 209 South St.,Waunakee. Rev Dave Johannes will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
Full military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 360 Honors Unit.
