Lon Pryor

Lon Pryor, also known as Lawrence or Junior, age 80 of Madison, died Friday, January 17, 2014 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born September 6, 1933 in Lambert, Mississippi the son of Charlie and Eva (Dell) Pryor.
Lon lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Chicago, Illinois before making Madison, Wisconsin his home. He loved fishing and working on cars.
He survived by his wife, Brenda Pryor; children: Deola (Elijah) Flanagan, James Tinnel, Albert (Ronda) Tinnel, August Pryor, Leslie Williams, Sherrie Pryor, LaCharles (Becky) Pryor, Electea Pryor and Donte Williams; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ophelia Mallet, and Susan Pryor. He is further survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
Lon was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Eva; four sisters: Nillie, Alice, Elizabeth, and Ruby Dell; and four brothers: William, J.W., J.D., and Tommie Lee.
