Lois Pullar

McFarland- Yet another angel among us has been called home. Lois Kathleen Pullar passed quietly in her sleep on Saturday, August 1st. God, church and family was her passion. She truly nurtured and cared for these three things with her everyday practice. As a longtime resident of McFarland and member of the McFarland Lutheran Church, possessing the name of Mom and Grandma was not limited to immediate family. Many in the community and congregation referred to her as such. To meet Lois meant that you were assured to now have a new friend, Mom, or Grandma for life. She will be dearly missed by many, as she touched so many lives while with us.

Born in Medelia, MN to Blanche (Loomis) and John Siebert, Lois grew up in Erie & International Falls, MN and relocated to McFarland in 1956 with her husband Bert Pullar.

Survived by sons, Dale (Sue) Everett, Oxford; Wally (Shirley) Pullar, Lodi; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brothers, Joseph Siebert, Rome; and Gerald (Cathy) Siebert, Wild Rose.

Preceded in death by: husband Bert Pullar; son William Everett; daughter Joyce Crapp; brothers Warren, Donald, James, William, Bernard, John Jr., and Merrill Siebert; and sisters Mary Siebert and Beverly Dougherty.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at McFarland Lutheran Church, 5529 Marsh Road, McFarland, with Rev. Timothy Dean officiating. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon, immediately following the services, in the church fellowship hall. Burial will take place in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland, and from 10:00 AM until the time of services Thursday at the church.

Lois had made stops to various facilities during her later years and the family would like to extend our deepest gratitude for the supreme level of care she received by care givers during her journey. Thank You.
