Lois Dybevik

Lois M. Dybevik, age 91 passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Skaalen Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born on September 26, 1934, the daughter of Lester and Charlotte (Quale) Jacobson. Lois was united in marriage to Dale D. Dybevik on August 26, 1956.

Lois graduated from Stoughton High School in 1952 and went on to attend and graduate from nursing school at Milwaukee County School of Nursing. She worked for many years at Stoughton Hospital as a registered nurse. She also helped Dale on the family farm.

Lois enjoyed league golfing in the summer and league bowling during the winter months. She enjoyed knitting and quilting. Lois and Dale were Wisconsin sports fans and watched and attended many sporting events. She was also an active member of Christ Lutheran Church where she made lefse for the Lutefisk dinner and was a member of the church women’s circle.

Lois will be deeply missed by her children, Paula (Terry) Tiffany, Todd Dybevik, son-in-law, Robert Isdahl; grandchildren Anneke and Peter Isdahl, Anders Tiffany and great grandchild, Madison. She is survived by her three siblings Lowell (Jeanne) Jacobson, Linda (Duanne) Bratzke, and L’Jean (Larry) Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents: beloved husband and daughter, Lore and her brother Leroy (Barb) Jacobson.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church, 700 County Rd B, Stoughton. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Family and friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following the services at church.
