Lois L. Beduhn

Madison -- Lois L. Beduhn, age 79, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She was born on February 15, 1931, the daughter of Palmer and Alice Hanson. Lois graduated from Stoughton High School in 1949, UW Whitewater in 1953 in primary education and continued to earn several degrees. She taught in Beloit, Wauwatosa, and Madison for 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, a brother, Russell (Wilma) Hanson in Melbourne Fl, three sons, Don (Deb), Mark (Regina), and Paul (Terri) along with seven grandchildren.

She was know as the ""Sweater Lady"" for her beautiful hand knitted sweaters..

A graveside service will held at RIVERSIDE CEMETERY, 799 S. Page Street, Stoughton, on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held at FIRST METHODIST CHURCH, 203 Wisconsin Avenue, Madison, on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Keith Schroerlucke officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be set up at UW Whitewater/ Education Department.
