Linda L. Williamson

Linda passed peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Agrace Hospice Care, Fitchburg, WI following a fall and short stay at Agrace. She was born May 24, 1947, to Charles H. and Alice I (Carroll) Williamson in Cincinnati, Ohio.

After receiving a degree in Speech Pathology, she traveled to San Antonio, TX and then to Madison, Wisconsin where she worked as a speech pathologist at Madison General Hospital. Linda and her dearest friend, Rita Roemer, bought a house on Redwood Lane where she resided until her memory faded and she needed additional care.

Linda was an active lady and enjoyed walking, martial arts, and books of all kinds, but especially American history and the History of the American Indian. She loved her cat, Elleanor, who came to them with only 3 lives left, but Linda and Rita gave her back 4 more with their loving care.

A big thank you goes to Brookdale Memory Care and another to Agrace Hospice Care. Thank you also to John Roemer and Cheryl Glomp who became her guardians when she could no longer manage.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends at Natural Path Sanctuary, 2299 Spring
Rose Rd., Verona, WI 53593 on Friday, December 22 at 10:30 AM.
