Sun Prairie - Linda "Lin" Kathleen Williams, age 66, unexpectedly passed into eternal life on February 26th, 2014. Lin was born, the daughter of Nathan and Mary Williams on May 21, 1947. Lin attended Madison West High School and continued her education at Madison Area Technical College and the University of Wisconsin Madison. Lin had a long career working in many different departments for the University of Wisconsin Madison.
Lin was very talented and creative. She enjoyed her many arts and crafts, which included home decorating, drawing, painting and quilting. Lin was active in Madison area politics. She was an avid sports fan. Her Chicago Cubbies, The Green Bay Packers, and any University of Wisconsin Sports were her passion.
Lin was a very loving, cheerful, silly, devoted, faithful and giving person. She had a huge heart. Her contagious laughter, bright smile, and endless hugs uplifted everyone she met. Although her love and encouragement will live in our hearts forever, she will be greatly missed.
Lin is survived by her parents Nathan "Nate" and Mary Burke Williams. Her brother David (Kathy) Williams. Her four children; Karen Kalinoski, Rob Corcoran, Jesse (Sara) Sieger, and Elizabeth Sieger. Her grandchildren; Briana, Brittney, Brigham, Brielle, Sierra, Ava, Hudson, Rowan, and great-grandchild Evelyn.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 St. Albert Dr., Sun Prairie on Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Terrence Connors officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Hearts Cemetery in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Monday, March 3, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
