Linda Punkka, passed away on November 27, 2023 at Milestone Memory Care in Stoughton. She was born on May 7, 1940 in Rochelle, Illinois to Clarence Hardesty and Ardella Bunger. Linda graduated from Ashton High School and went on to marry Howard Punkka on December 15, 1962. She raised two daughters, Lisa and Kathy, while working in a variety of positions. When her daughters were grown, she went on to work in the Subrogation Department at WPS for many years where she later retired.
Linda enjoyed puzzles, gardening, following her grandchildren’s activities and traveling to many places around the US. One of her travel highlights was a trip to Italy with her sisters and nephew where they enjoyed many of the historic sites and local foods.
Linda is survived by her daughters Lisa (Jeff) Bothun and Kathy (Tim) Morris; sisters Delores Baumann and Norma Seebach; her grandchildren Kyle Gregorich, Jacob Morris, Alex Morris, Abby Gregorich; and many relatives and dear friends. Linda was preceded in death by her parents.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Agrace Hospice Care or University of Wisconsin’s Initiative to End Alzheimer’s in Linda’s memory.

Linda was a caring, devoted mother and grandmother and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
