Linda L. Neumann

Sun Prairie - Linda L (Wiersma) Neumann, 84, Sun Prairie (formerly of Beaver Dam, WI) passed away after a brief illness on July 21, 2025.

She was born February 16, 1941in Hustisford, WI to Wm and Margaret Wiersma. On September 24, 1960, she was united in marriage to Wilbur Neumann at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam, WI. Together they farmed and raised their children Brenda and Alan in the Town of Trenton. They enjoyed working together and enjoying the reward of their large garden, crops, and caring for the various animals they had over the years. After Wilbur's passing in 1989 Linda was employed at Piggly Wiggly Beaver Dam for 25 years working in the deli making salads and greeting customers, a job she took much pride in and made many friends.

Linda is survived by her daughter Brenda (Chuck) Wagner and son Alan (Renna) Neumann, both of Sun Prairie. Grandchildren, Basil and Liam Neumann and Cassandra and Alexandra Peltier who gave her much happiness. She is also survived by siblings Catherine Pixler, Harvey (Lana) Wiersma, Joyce (Gordon) Henderson and sisters in law, Carol Wiersma, and Crystal Wiersma

She was preceded in death by her parents William & Margaret Wiersma, husband, Wilbur and an infant daughter, Rhonda. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mabel Thomas, Alice Evans, Evelyn Leystra, Shirley Krueger, Mary Becker, Dorothy Whitrock, and brothers, Charles, Robert, Henry, Willard, William Jr, Howard, Larry, Jimmy.

A funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday July 29, 2025, at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590. A visitation for Linda will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home on Tuesday. A luncheon will be held immediately after at The Round Table, 1611N. Bristol St, Sun Prairie. A private burial will be held at a later date at Highland Memory Gardens, Beaver Dam.
