Linda Doyle

Linda S. (Smock) Doyle, age 55, died on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at UW-Hospital from complications with leukemia. Linda was born in Madison on Nov. 25, 1958, to Donald and Shirley (Heffel) Smock. She was raised on the west side of Madison and graduated from Madison Memorial High School. She married Timothy Doyle in 1992, and together they had two children, Alex (19) and Amanda (18) and resided in Lodi. Linda enjoyed the outdoors, tending to her gardens, Lake Wisconsin, traveling and being with family and friends. She was employed at UW Health DeForest-Windsor as a medical receptionist.

Survivors include her husband Tim; two children, Alex and Amanda; and many extended family and friends. A gathering for the public will be held at Rex's Innkeeper, 301 N. Century Ave., Waunakee on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Linda's family would like to thank the staff at UW-Hospital for their extraordinary care during her stays.
