Lillian was born and grew up in Neshkoro, WI to Ludwig and Emma(Fierke) Krueger. She lived in Berlin, Florida and Waunakee, WI. She passed away peacefully the day after her 108th birthday in the presence of her children at Home Again Assisted Living in Waunakee.

Lillian is survived by her children Beverly Mosher in Oshkosh, Mike Marks in Okee, Matt(Annie) Marks in Monona, Tom(Nancy) Marks in Middleton, son-in-law Larry Carroll(CeCe ) in Oviedo, FL, 15 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Lillian was preceded in death by husband Leo Bach, daughter CeCe Carroll, son-in-law Gary Mosher (Beverly), father of her children George Marks, great granddaughter Jessica Dow, great grandson Nathan Doro, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

She had many stories about growing up on a farm with her six older siblings near Neshkoro without electricity and indoor plumbing and using horses to pull farm equipment. She often talked about riding a horse-drawn sleigh across the frozen millpond to town in the winter.

Being born in 1915, she survived 2 pandemics.

Lillian worked as a nurse’s aide for over 20 years at the Berlin Hospital and was very proud of the medical knowledge she gained there.  As a result, medicine became a life-long interest.

She liked music and was very active in church choirs in Florida and she played organ and piano often.

She loved to be outdoors, especially golfing and fishing in Florida and tending to vegetable and flower gardens wherever she lived.

Lillian’s family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Home Again Assisted Living in Waunakee for the exemplary care she received for the last 5 years and to the staff at SSM Hospice for their wonderful care over the last year.

Memorials can be directed to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neshkoro, WI, or to a charity of you choice.

 AVisitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon followed by a Memorial service at Noon at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home in Waunakee, WI on Friday Dec. 15
