Lexy Rotzoll

Madison - Lexy Ann Rotzoll, age 81, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on November 18, 1932 in Madison to the late John Crawford Nesson and Anna Sophia Nesson (Abelt). Lexy graduated from Madison Central High School in 1950 and earned her R.N. Diploma at Madison General School of Nursing, and later earned her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Edgewood College. She worked for many years in the operating room until her retirement at Madison General and Meriter hospitals. She married William Rotzoll on November 18th, 1961 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Together they celebrated 52 years of marriage. She enjoyed traveling extensively with Bill throughout Asia, Europe, South America and Australia. She and Bill were both active circus fans and were regular volunteers at the Milwaukee circus parades. She also enjoyed needlework, gardening and Tai Chi.
Lexy is survived by her loving husband Bill; three sons: Eric of Bethesda, MD, Kurt of Madison and Craig of Maple Grove, MN; three granddaughters and one grandson; one brother Robert of Sun Prairie, two nephews, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Parish (602 Everglade Dr, Madison, WI 53711) on Wednesday, August 27th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow with Father Bart Timmerman presiding. Burial will take place following Mass at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
