Alexandra “Lexi” Samantha Liddicoat, age 22, of Stoughton, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2026. She was born on September 25, 2003, and her light was far too bright to have left us so soon.

Lexi graduated from Stoughton High School on June 5, 2022, where she was active in 4-H, Girl Scouts, and band. She spent a year at UW-River Falls before finding her true calling as an electrician apprentice with 1901 Inc., where she was proud to work alongside her union brothers and sisters, building something with her hands and her heart — just like everything else she touched. She also enjoyed working security at UW events and other events around Madison, quickly working her way up to event manager — a testament to her work ethic and the trust people naturally placed in her.

Animals were Lexi’s whole world. She adored her dogs and cats at home, and her love of horses came alive through her years working at Crest Haven Farm, where she’d been a fixture since she was just 16 years old. She loved showing pigs and goats at the Stoughton Fair, always right in the middle of the action, at home in the barns and the chaos and the community that came with it. During her time at UW River Falls she participated on the Western Show Team riding horses. She also had a deep love of live music, always chasing the next show and the energy of a good crowd.

She grew up at LakeView Church and enjoyed the kids ministry and youth group. She enjoyed being able to help others including a mission trip to Detroit, being a camp counselor at Lake Waubesa Bible Camp for a summer, and a mission trip to Camp Barnabas.

As her good friend Jake put it, “one of the best things about hanging out with Lexi is that you never felt judged.” That was Lexi — open-hearted, accepting, and someone people simply felt safe being themselves around. If you were lucky enough to catch a smile from her, you knew you earned it.

She is survived by her parents Chad Liddicoat and Becky Liddicoat; her two sisters, Ashley and Addison Liddicoat; and her best friend, Tess Schenk. She is also survived by her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and the many friends who were lucky enough to know and love.

Visitation will be from 5-8:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2026 at LakeView Church, 2200 Lincoln Ave, Stoughton, WI 53589. Visitation will continue from 10-11:00 AM on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at LakeView Church with a Memorial Service at follow at 11:00 AM.
