Leona (Drunasky) Tjugum, 93, of Sun Prairie, WI passed away peacefully April 6, 2026, surrounded by family.

Leona grew up in Sun Prairie, WI, the daughter of Hattie and Ernest Drunasky. She was married in 1953 to Delano Tjugum.

Leona is survived by her husband of 73 years, Delano, her twin sister Lucille, and children Marilyn, Steve (Susie), Jeff, Doug (Laurel), Diane (Dan), Laurie (Tom) and Julie (Tom); her grandchildren Shana (Bryan), Sara (Cole), Danielle (Jose), Mariah (Clay), Paul (Joleen), Michael (Sheena), Evan, Chad, Connor, Sammy; her great grandchildren Ella, Cole, Gio, Leo, Emma, Alice, Nora, Alonzo, Stella, Addy, Gunner, twins Kase and Kolt, and family friend, Ashton.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Rita and Eileen, grandson Jacob, and son in law David.

Leona enjoyed life on the farm and being outdoors. She read many books in the sunshine with kitties nearby. She cared for people and animals, finding inspiration in her faith. She was a kind and generous lady.

A private funeral Mass was held for her family.
