Leo Goldapske

Sun Prairie - Leo D. Goldapske, age 67, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. He was born on September 1, 1947, the son of John and Eunice (Frazier) Goldapske. Leo graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac and went on to graduate from the UW Superior. He was united in marriage to Mary Beth Tadych on April 26, 1969 in Fond du Lac, WI. Leo worked for Mendota Mental Health from 1981 until his retirement in 2005. Next to his family his passion was the game of golf.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth Goldapske; a son, Eric (Julie) Goldapske; a daughter, Sarah Jane Goldapske; grandchildren, Kiley and Nathan; sister, Karen (Robert) Mueller; twin brother, Larry Goldapske; nephews, Rick (Christine) Mueller and Bobby (Stephanie) Goldapske; and nieces, Tammy (Jerry) DeWan and Dawn (Mark) Stacey.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. with Pastor Amy Jameson officiating. A memorial gathering will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Leo's name to Agrace HospiceCare, The First Tee Program and Wounded Warrior Project.
