Lenard Sturm

Madison - Lenard James Sturm - age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born on February 6, 1941 in Park Falls, Wisconsin, the son of William and Mary (Frankiewich) Sturm. Lenard proudly served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard. He was united in marriage to Betty Ward on May 28, 1999. Lenard has been a longtime Madison area resident. For over 30 years, Lenard worked at Oscar Mayer until his retirement in 2008. He was a member of the McFarland American Legion.
Lenard is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sturm; three children, Staci Sturm, Jeffery Sturm and Susan (David) Marshall; three step children, Wesley, Russ and Laura Meixelsperger, seven grandchildren; a sister, Jean (Dick) Steenhoven and three brothers, Bill (Rita) Sturm, Donald Sturm and Dennis (Jean) Sturm.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
