Lavina Fedele died at the age of 91 on March 2, 2013. Lavina was a cosmetologist. She started work at the beauty salon in Barons Department Store. As a single woman she then went on to open her own beauty shop which was next to Fedele's barber shop where she met her future husband Sam Fedele. They were married September 2, 1946. Lavina was an amazing woman with quiet strength and gentle grace.

Lavina is survived by her sons, Joseph and John; her daughters, Jennine (Rick) Reuter and Maria (Keevin Peuse) Fedele; grandchildren, Nicholas, Lexi and Francesca. She is further survived by her brother, Albert Kuehn; sister, Elizabeth Ripp; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Kuehn and Martha Kuehn and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sam; parents and many of her siblings.

There will be a Memorial Mass on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 11:00 a. m. at GOOD SHEPHERD PARISH, St. JAMES CHURCH, 1128 St. James Ct. with Msgr. Thomas Baxter presiding. There will be a Visitation for family and friends on Thursday March 7, 2013 at the CRESS CENTER, 6021 University Ave. from 4 - 7 p. m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. James School, 1128 St. James Ct. Madison, WI 53715.
