Larry "Lars" Schwenn

Dane - Larry (Lars) J. Schwenn age 70, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2025, at his home. He was born on December 7, 1954, the son of Roland (Bunny) and Clarice (Rortvedt) Schwenn.

Larry lived in Dane his entire life. He graduated from Lodi High School in 1973. He worked for the Village of Dane, Lodi School District and Blessed Trinity Catholic School. Along with his brother and best friend Ron, Larry started a car detailing service, lawn mowing and snow removal service, power washing and deck staining service, painting service and floor waxing. He could be called on at any time to help with most any request or repair. He was a good brother, uncle and friend. Larry (just like his mother) enjoyed the Packers, Badgers and Brewers.

Larry is survived by his sister Carol Mae (Bugsy) Marks, his brother Ron (Heidi) Schwenn, sisters Lois (Cookie) Gerard Adler and Sue Haack. Nephew Tyler (Brenda) Schwenn and their children Carson, Bethany, Henry and MaKenzie; Nephew Justin (Rebecca) Schwenn and their son Dylan; Niece Jenna (Trevor) Schwenn and their children Nyla, Logan, Lincoln and Maverick. He is also survived by many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

A Celebration of Larry's Life and a luncheon will be held on Saturday, June 21st from 1:00 to 4:00 at the Village of Dane Community Center, 102 W. Main St. Dane, WI.
