Larry Aranda

Sun Prairie - Larry Sidney Aranda, a retired pharmacist, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 19, 1951. He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Deb Aranda; his children, Sarah Farrar, Jessica Beversdorf, and Marcus Aranda; his sons in law, Steve and Alex; his grandchildren, Abigail, Alex, Isa, Kate, William, Audrey and Sidney. He is survived by his siblings, Susan Altobello (Roy), David Aranda - Dunaway (Daryl), Nicki Glueck, Theresa Vanderbrook, Mary Beth Smith (Hanson), Nick Aranda Jr. (Chris), Paul Aranda (Lynne), and many nieces, nephews and friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Betty and his son, Adam.

Larry was a proud New Orleanean and shared his love of Louisiana food with everyone around him. His favorite event of the year was his annual crawfish boil. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

A Catholic Requiem Mass will be held at ST. THERESE CHAPEL, 6039 Baltes Road, Waunakee, on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Father Andrew Dwyer presiding. Burial will follow at Sun Prairie Cemetery in Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Larry's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
