Kris Abrams

Madison - Kris Anna Abrams, age 53, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2014 while at her home.

Kris was born on February 13, 1961 in Hillsboro, IL, the daughter of Jack and Darlene (Caulk) Abrams.

Kris loved crafting, photography and watching her favorite TV series. She also liked to quilt and spend time with her family. She was born in Hillsboro, Illinois but spent most of her life in Wisconsin. Kris went to Madison East High School and MATC. She worked at the United States Post office. She was caring, always willing to listen to people, and was always willing to help. She was a daughter, sister, aunt and wife and will be missed by all.
Kris is survived by her father, Jack Don Abrams; brothers, Steve (Janet) Abrams, Kevin Abrams and Stacey Abrams, many nieces, nephews and other relatives, her ex-husband, Mark Gehl and other friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a sister, Cindy.

A memorial gathering will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
