Kevin Meffert

DEFOREST/WAUNAKEE-Kevin Meffert, age 58, died on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from an accident while working on his dump truck. He was born in Madison on March 1, 1960, the son of Gilbert and Viola (Kalscheuer) Meffert. His pride and joy were his dump truck and being the owner of KJM Enterprises, LLC in De Forest. He also excelled at welding and enjoyed riding motorcycles, auto racing and working in the pits. Kevin worked hard and played hard.

Survivors include his sister, Luann; brother, Terry (Kari); step-mother, Maryann; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home in Waunakee. Msgr. James Gunn will preside. A reception will follow at St. John's School Hall following the service. Friends may call at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.
