Kendall D Kiley, age 91, of Madison, WI passed away peacefully at his home on June, 23, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1933 in Mt Horeb, the son of Merle & Helen Kiley. He married the love of his life, Angeline R Hefty on September, 2, 1957 in Perry Wisconsin.
Ken is survived by Angeline R Kiley, his children, Todd (Maureen) Kiley, Tim (Lori) Kiley, Amy (Dave) Potts and Lisa (Dave) Ohlrogge along with eleven grandchildren, Erin (Evan) Rogers, Kelly (Brett) Strickland, Kevin Kiley, Kristopher (Allie) Kiley, Kyanna (Eddie Wreh) Kiley-Wreh, Kayla (Dane Voelker) Kiley, Ryan Potts, Connor Potts, Mackenzie Potts, Kiley Ohlrogge and Kendall Ohlrogge and nine great-grandchildren, Beatrix, Eleanor, Abigail and Gwendolyn Rogers, Albert Strickland, Kane and Jaret Kiley, Kylo Wreh and Charlie Voelker-Kiley.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Merle & Helen, sisters, Joyce Kiley and Laurel Butts, brother Lowell, father-in-law Herman Hefty, mother-in-law Loretta Hefty, sister-in-law Adella Buechner, brothers-in-law Andy Buechner, Lawrence Hefty, Francis Hefty, Dick Karn, Warren Sailing and Jack Butts,
Ken was a mechanic by training and worked on all types of equipment from small to large. He was a jack of all trades and if there was work to be done or something to fix, Ken would take care of it. His passion however was his family and friends. He enjoyed many days in the back yard swimming pool, annual spring break trips to the coast of Florida, summers spent at the A Frame on Lake Camelot and spending many Christmas Holidays at the cabin we call Snowflake on Big Powderhorn Mountain. If his children or grandchildren were playing in a sporting event, Ken was there. It didn’t matter if it was hockey, basketball, soccer, dance recitals or school concerts, Ken was watching.
Funeral Services will be held at St. James Catholic Church, Madison, Wisconsin on Monday June 30 at 10:30 AM. Visitation will be held at St James Catholic Church on Monday June 30 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
