Kellan Mulhall

July 2, 2013 — April 9, 2014

MADISON - Kellan Scott Mulhall passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on April 9, 2014 after complications from meningitis. Kellan was born on his mother's birthday, July 2, 2013.

Kellan was the son of Ryan and Ericka Mulhall of Madison; he was the answer to their prayers. During his nine short months with us, he touched countless lives and was loved deeply by family and friends.

Our "Sweet Baby Boy" was known for his infectious laugh, perpetual smile, and joyful bouncing. He enjoyed greeting the day each morning by watching the sunrise and sharing morning songs with his parents. He snuggled as much as possible with his puppy Bentley, both the real and stuffed versions. He was notoriously hungry for books and had a penchant for playing until he quite literally dropped. He filled the world with plenty of "ahh-boo"s, giggles, and love.

He was loved by all whom met him and will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Ericka and Ryan Mulhall; his grandparents, Linda Herman, Matt Herman (Tari), Phillip (Ruth) Mulhall, and the late Kathleen Mulhall; great-grandmother Evelyn (and the late Emmett) Slattery; his aunts Amanda Herman (Bryan Berghauer), Colleen (Mark) Fleisher, and uncle Brian (Heather) Mulhall; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, we would be honored to have you support The American Family Children's Hospital, as they so graciously and kindly supported us in our time of need.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home (3610 Speedway Road Madison, WI). Family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, and all those who loved our Kellan are welcome to attend the wake from 2:00-5:00. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Our Lady Queen of Peace (401 S. Owen Dr.) at 11:00.
