Madison - After many years of keeping a careful watch over this beautiful lady, Kay Louise (Rieder) Tetzlaff, God decided it was time to take her home. He needed a special angel who was strong, humorous and feisty, loving and kind to all, who could make amazing meals and bake for an army. Kay went home to her Lord peacefully on October 23, 2015 at Stoughton Hospital with her loving son JR at her side. She was born on June 20, 1929 to Glenn & Faith (Kline) Rieder in Madison, WI.
Kay is survived by her loving sons JR, Jon, and Jim; her brother and sister-in-law, Lou and Marie Rieder; nieces and nephews; the daughter she never had, Ellen Roche; and her 4-legged friend and protector, Sophie. Sincerest gratitude to Kay's constant caretaking companions, Holly Hanson and Melissa Olson, who were our angels on earth helping to make it possible for JR to keep Kay at home.
A special thank you to the staff at Stoughton Hospital, Hospice nurse Brittany, as well as all the friends who visited and supported Kay. The GB Packers and WI Badgers will be missing a loyal fan.
Family memorial services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
