Kathryn Schroeder

Madison/McFarland - Kathryn Schroeder, age 92, passed away on March 3, 2013 while at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

Kathryn was born on Jun 27, 1920 in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of Haskell and Althea (Silvers) Lee. She grew up in Akron, worked for 7 years at Marshall Fields in Chicago and resided in McFarland since 1959. She married John Schroeder on November 27, 1952 in Viola, WI.

Kathryn was a member of McFarland Lutheran Church, a charter member of Redwing Stoneware Collectors and she loved antiquing and being outdoors.
Kathryn is survived by her children, Carol (Leonard) Swart of Madison and Larry Schroeder of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Brian, Paul and Leah and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John in 2002.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Olbrich Gardens or the Dane County Humane Society.

Private memorial services have already taken place. In her memory, the family asks to eat a piece of chocolate and plant some Pansies in her memory.
