Kathryn Loy

Sun Prairie/Madison - Kathryn Amanda "Kay" Loy, age 92 joined her Lord on Thursday morning, April 28, 2016 at Brookdale in Sun Prairie.

She was born on April 23, 1924, the daughter of William Michael and Matilda Crescentia (Grimm) Littel in Madison. Kay was a faithful, dedicated, and proud mother of her three sons. She had a heart of gold, delightful disposition, and a contagious smile. Not only was family important and dear to her heart, so were her dogs and all kinds of animals. Kay will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Kathy) Voeck of Stoughton, Thomas (Cynthia) Voeck of Sun Prairie, and Timothy Voeck of McFarland; eight grandchildren, Brian (Amy Fosdick) Voeck, Brent (Julia) Voeck, James (Ana Cecilia Pulido) Voeck, Shawn (Colin) Mehlum, Benjamin (Aimee) Voeck, Kristina Voeck, Timothy (Michelle) Voeck and Karl (Michaela) Voeck; 15 great grandchildren, Krystal (Greg Lanting), Cody, Bella, Carmen, Wesley, Sophia, Estelle, Tennyson, Finley, Oliver, Owen, Raine, Tristen, Kyla and Makayla; two great great grandsons, Jayce and Greyson; her sister, Dorothy Dickert of Madison and sister-in-law, Clarice Littel of Madison. Kay is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard Voeck, her parents, husband Carl Milton Loy and four siblings, Richard "Bud" Little, Margaret "Marge" (John) Pharo, Ruth Ann (Harold) Orwin and Mary Jean (George) Uselman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. ALBERT THE GREAT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2420 St. Albert Drive, Sun Prairie on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 11:00 am with Monsignor Terrence Connors presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 9:30 am until the time of Mass. Graveside services will follow on Tuesday at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Madison at 2:00 pm.
