Kathryn “Kay” Lang, passed away on July 12, 2026. Kay was born on August 11, 1938, in Elmhurst, Illinois, to John and Anna Lang. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, Edgewood High School, and Madison Area Technical College, attaining her certificate to become a Nursing Assistant. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.

Kay devoted her life to helping the elderly in their time of need, cooking, cleaning, and providing other daily care. She was active in helping others until she no longer could and needed others to assist her with daily tasks. She lived her life with three perspectives: God, family, and helping those in need.

Kay was the beloved aunt to nineteen nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Mary Navin and Jean Haas, her brother, John, and her closest friend, Betty Blair.

A private graveside service was held.

Kay’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Care Center-Fitchburg, SSM Hospice, and Sister George Ann for all their wonderful care and compassion during this difficult time.
