Kathryn Lang “Kay”, passed away on July 12, 2026. Kay was born on August 11, 1938, in Elmhurst, Illinois, to John and Anna Lang. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, Edgewood High School, and Madison Area Technical College, attaining her certificate to become a Nursing Assistant.

Kay devoted her life to helping the elderly in their time of need, cooking, cleaning, and providing other daily care. She was active in helping others until she no longer could and needed others to assist her with daily tasks. She lived her life with three perspectives: God, family and helping those in need.

Kay was the beloved aunt of Lee (Kitty), Lynn (Larry) Morris, Larry (Cindy), and Lisa (Ian) Perrin. She is further survived by her great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Jean Haas, Mary, and John Jr, and her closest friend Betty Blair.

A private graveside service was held.

Kay’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary’s Care Center-Fitchburg, SSM Hospice, and Sister George Ann for all their wonderful care and compassion during this difficult time.
