Katherine Burrison

Sun Prairie - Katherine "Betty" E. Burrison, age 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at her home in Sun Prairie. She was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey on June 14, 1933 the daughter of George and Margaret (Pawson) Youngman. She was united in marriage to John Burrison in Bound Brook, New Jersey on April 7, 1956. Betty's life journey took her from New Jersey, to Jarrettsville, Maryland to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin making many friends and sharing stories along the way.

Betty is survived by her children, Ross (Venus) Burrison and Margaret (Jerry) Barnett; grandchildren, Michael and Robert Burrison and Kaitlyn (Teo Tulop) Barnett; a great grandson, Kaileno Tulop; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister, Jean Allen.

A memorial service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 12:00 noon with Pastor Rick Reiten officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
