Madison: Karl W. Dersch, age 64, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at William S. Middleton Veterans Hospital in Madison, following a brief illness. Karl was born July 31, 1950 the son of Ralph and Alberta (Fitzpatrick) Dersch in Wahington DC. After graduation he served in the U.S. Navy. Karl was married to Barbara Rowe April 25, 1975. His lifelong passion was music and playing the guitar. He was a member of "The Juveniles" a rock band in his earlier years, but has played his entire life. He has worked in sales and customer service, most recently he was employed by HyVee. Karl is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Barbara, his children; Kathy of Madison, and Jeremy of Cleveland, OH, a brother, Dean (Paula) of Rehboth Delaware, and a sister Donna (Joe) Gloystein of Alexandria, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Norma. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the CRESS CENTER, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI 53705.
