June Hoffman

Hoffman, June (Beverly) was called to Heaven October 1, 2013 to supervise God's cleaning crew. June was born to Herman and Katherine Lange on June 1, 1928 in Madison, WI.

June worked at Waunakee State Bank and Waunakee Alloy Casting Corp and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary for 63 years. She had a passion for cleaning and took pride in having a clean house and clean laundry. Her love for traveling took her to many places around the world such as Las Vegas, Hawaii, Germany, Mexico, and Dubuque. June also enjoyed playing cards, going bowling, going to coffee clubs, and most importantly, spending time with her 21 grandchildren.

June is preceded in death by her parents as well has her husband Ted Hoffman; daughter, Sandy Schwenn, daughter-in-law Vicki Bond Hoffman; granddaughter Jeri Ann Pollock; sisters and brother-in-law Donna (Fritz) Spaeni and Sharon (Darvin) Peterson; brothers Dick (Jane) Lange, Hermie Lange; and friend Bob Bestor.

June is survived by her daughter Karen (Rex) Pollock; son John Hoffman; brothers Duane (Joan) Lange, Ron (Dorothy) Lange; sister-in-laws Mary Lange and Adeline Lange and Annie Hoffman; Bob Bestor's daughter Bev James; 7 grandchildren: Troy, Chad, Trent, Jackie, Jodi, Jamie, and Jordann; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday October 4, 2013 at 11:00am at Peace Lutheran Church, 701 S. Century Avenue, Waunakee, WI with Pastor Karen Locken officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 9:30am until the time of service. Graveside services will be 2pm at Highland Memory Garden.
