Jullienne Genrich, age 89 of Waunakee and formerly of Fox Lake was lifted from this world on Sunday, August 20, 2017, at her home in Waunakee. Jullienne was born February 25, 1928, the third of three daughters blessed to John and Elsie (Zick) Grams. She was baptized, confirmed and married at St. John's Lutheran Church in Fox Lake.
Jullienne graduated from Randolph High School and aspired to be a journalist. She was united in marriage to Franklin Genrich on November 9, 1947. Together they raised two daughters. Jullienne and Franklin were married 64 years until his death in 2012. During their life together, they operated two dairy farms in rural Fox Lake. In 2004, they moved to Waunakee to be located near their daughters and families. They became members of Lord of Love Lutheran Church in DeForest.
Jullienne was a wonderful mother, grandmother and always a loyal family advocate. Jullienne took great pride in making things beautiful and creating special family dinners with fresh flowers, crystal and silver, making her family gatherings very memorable. She loved her family and she would always greet them and wave goodbye, saying "Drive Carefully".
She is survived by her daughters; Nancy (John) Barden and Lori (Patti Fisher) Martinson; two granddaughters, Stephanie (Greg) Lang and Sarah (Aaron) Kerl; her great-grandchildren, Briana (Alex) Kwitek, Royal Lang, Elizabeth Lang, Johnathan Kerl and Benjamin Kerl; her great- great- grandchildren Evelyn, Maddie and Kenley Kwitek.
Jullienne was preceded in death by her husband, parents and her two sisters, Marabeth Polenska and Louise Genrich.
Funeral services will be held at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 105 Paradise Circle, DeForest, on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jerry Ewings officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Jullienne will be laid to rest next to her husband at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery in Fox Lake.
The family would like to thank Pastor Ewings and Pastor Willitz and to the many caregivers and friends who showed love and support. Thanks to Sienna Crest and Agrace: your kindness will never be forgotten.
