Julie Falat

MADISON - Julie A. Falat, age 51, of Two Rivers, WI, passed away at University of Wisconsin Hospital on Sunday, July 19, 2015.

Even through her toughest times and most debilitating ailments she managed to keep her head held high and offer strength, comfort, and love to all around her. She always found the will to fight the bad, harness the good, and give everyone a good laugh. She brought family and friends together, made it her life's work to keep everyone smiling, and always told people how much she loved them as often as she could.

Julie would like you to know that during her last nine days she was out of the hospital and feeling better than ever. She spent every waking minute with her grandson Ethan, husband Tim, dogs Aly and Molly, daughter Sarah, and son-in-law Blaine in Madison. She would tell you that she had a final "appointment" to get to - one without waiting lines, bad news, or treatment plans. She is cured and healthy now, after fighting long and hard. Her love remains a light in this world, and all of the wonderful time shared with family and friends has been a true gift. She would not say she "lost the battle", but rather that she won and was the lucky one.

There will be no funeral service or memorial at this time, per her wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, because she always did love a good party with family and friends.
