Julia Catherine West

Julia was born January 7, 1944, in Elmwood, WI to Florian Plon and Catherine (Crownhart).  Julia was united in marriage to Bill West at St. Patrick’s Church on September 14, 1963, in Madison Wisconsin.

Julia was a homemaker who liked reading and trivia.  She also enjoyed gardening and birdwatching from her porch. Julia found great pleasure when she was traveling, boating and spending time with her beloved family.

Suvivors include her husband Bill, children Mark (Jodi) West and Kimberly (Nathan) Schultz, sister Maxine (Randall) Hooper, Grandchildren Alexander McDaniel, Kyle and Hayden West. Great grandson Nikkolas, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dean Plon and grandson Bradley McDaniel.

Funeral service will be Friday July 14, 2023, at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie, WI. Visitation will begin at 9:30am till 11:30am, followed by Mass which will begin at 11:30am.  Following the Mass there will be a luncheon served in the fellowship hall of the church.
