Judith K. Wilson

Judy Wilson, 82, passed away on September 11, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and the many people who loved her.

Judy was born to Giles and Alverda Olson and graduated from Stoughton High School in 1963. She lived in Stoughton for the majority of her life and was proud of her Norwegian heritage, which remained an important part of who she was.

In 1970, Judy married the love of her life, Rick Wilson. Together, Judy and Rick shared 50 years of marriage before his passing in 2020. They were blessed with one son, Rich.

Judy worked at Oscar Mayer for many years and retired in 2015. Outside of work, she enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and had a personality that made her memorable to everyone who knew her. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, loved playing cribbage, and had a special fondness for Elvis Presley. Her love of Elvis was more than just being a fan—one of her special memories was seeing him perform live in concert in Madison in 1977.

Most weekends, you could find Judy happily perusing garage sales, always on the lookout for her next great find. And those lucky enough to share a meal with her knew that she made the best crab salad.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Rick; her brother, Grant; her sister, Nancy; and her sister-in-law, Kathy.

She is survived by her son, Rich (Renee); her brothers, Sammy, Rocky, and Ritchie (Linda); her sister, Donna; and many nieces and nephews.

Judy will be remembered for her love of family, her Norwegian heritage, her Packers, Elvis, cribbage, garage-sale treasures, and all the little things that brought her joy. She leaves behind many wonderful memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
