Judith Endres

Waunakee - Judith Ann Endres (Nee Hoppe), 73 passed away peacefully on March 31, 2012 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Judy was born on December 31, 1938 in Portage, WI to Dwight and Bernice (Mullenbach) Hoppe. She graduated from Portage High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Francis "Frank" Endres on April 11, 1964 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portage.
Judy and Frank made their home in Waunakee where they raised their two daughters. Judy truly loved cooking for family and friends, was an avid reader and movie goer. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and Friends of the Library.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynne (Fianc� Pat McGinley) Endres of Poynette and Kristie (Bob) Dye of DeForest. She is the proud grandmother of Jon Parr, Darin Dye, Bailey Dye and Kirk Dye. She is further survived by two brothers, Bill Hoppe of Bend, OR, Gary Hoppe of Wellfleet, MA, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Judy will also be missed by her very dear friends Ann Jankowski and Patti Gieck.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, and brothers Dick, Jim and Paul Hoppe.
Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 South Street, Waunakee, WI on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 9:30a.m.-11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Msgr. James Gunn presiding. A luncheon will follow the service.
The family would like to give extra special thanks to Janice Michaels at Care Wisconsin for the many years of kindness and care, and to the staff at Agrace HospiceCare for the tender care Judy and her family received in her final days.
