Madison -- Judith M. Berry, age 70 of Monona, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2008 in Madison. She was born in Madison on August 22, 1938, a daughter of Francis Revere and Flora Alma (Hoesley) McKiernan. She loved her cats, dancing and old movies, and was a very accomplished seamstress. She is survived by daughter C.J. (West) Romberger; son, D. Scott (Carrie) Johnson; daughter, Stacy (Christina Cichon) Johnson; five grandchildren; brother Gene Mark McKiernan; half siblings, Lee, Donna and Pat; sister-in-law Cassandra Gruenberg; nieces, Kelly and Coco; and nephew, Gene, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a half sister, Patty. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2008 from 11:00 am until 1:00pm at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in McFarland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
