Josephine Betro

Madison - Josephine Clare Betro, of the city of Amherst, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at the age of 62. The daughter of Clarence J. and Roberta M. Betro, she was born on July 11, 1955 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
Josephine graduated from Amherst High School in 1974. She then went on to graduate from the early child care program at MATC Stevens Point. Josephine was an active member of TOPS for many years. Josie worked at CCLS for many years and also worked various other jobs around the Stevens Point/ Waupaca area. Josie loved being around her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her daughter Stefani Jo Upthagrove, her life partner Dennis P. Upthagrove, her step-son Joshua H. Upthagrove, her brother and twin,John C. Betro Stevens Point, WI and her sister Pauline R. Betro Stevens Point, WI. She is also survived by Stephen A. Betro, Rosholt, WI and Micheal L. Betro, Stevens Point, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Roberta and Clarence Betro, her nephew Jeremy A. Rzentkowsk and her niece Annie M. Rzenkowski - Mueller.

A private celebration of Josie's life will be held by the family at a later date
